The terms that govern backorders, catches, auctions, payment and transfers.
Backorders are free to place. You must have a verified account to participate.
Placing a backorder does not guarantee acquisition.
DomainExchange.si will attempt to acquire domains listed on the pending delete list but cannot guarantee success against competing registrars, registration service providers, or registry operators.
If we fail to catch a domain, your backorder is automatically cancelled.
No charge is made.
If we successfully catch a domain with a single eligible backorder, that user will receive a fixed acquisition fee invoice and will have 48 hours to complete payment.
If payment is not received within 48 hours, DomainExchange.si reserves the right to offer the domain for public sale or auction.
If we successfully catch a domain with multiple eligible backorders, all eligible holders will be invited to participate in a private auction.
Auctions are private.
Only users who placed a valid backorder before the successful catch are eligible to participate.
The minimum bid increment is $10.
Any bid placed within the final 5 minutes of an auction will automatically extend the auction by 5 minutes.
This process will continue until no further bids are received during the final 5-minute period.
The highest valid bid at auction close wins.
Portfolio Auctions are domains owned and listed directly by DomainExchange.si. These auctions are open to all registered users and do not require a prior backorder. Any verified account may place a bid. A reserve price may apply and will be indicated on the listing. The highest bid at auction close wins, subject to the reserve being met.
To ensure a fair marketplace, the use of automated bidding tools, scripts, bots, or other mechanisms designed to interfere with the auction process is prohibited.
Accounts found to be engaging in such activity may be suspended or terminated without notice.
DomainExchange.si reserves the right to cancel bids or auctions where abuse, manipulation, or technical interference is suspected.
Payment is by bank transfer only.
Auction winners and fixed-price purchasers must complete payment within 48 hours of notification.
Failure to pay within 48 hours may result in:
Domains remain the property of DomainExchange.si until payment has been received in full.
Auth codes will only be issued after cleared funds have been received.
Once an auth code has been issued, the transfer process becomes the responsibility of the buyer and their chosen registrar.
Users are expected to participate in good faith.
