Terms, privacy and takedown policy

DomainExchange.si is a venue where owners list .si domain names and buyers make offers. We are not the seller of any listed domain (except names we list ourselves, which are marked with our own screen name). Agreed sales are completed through Escrow.com, with DomainExchange.si acting as broker.

By listing a domain, you confirm you own it or are authorised to sell it, and that selling it does not infringe anyone’s rights. By making an offer or buying now, you commit to complete the purchase through Escrow.com if the offer is accepted.

Deals started on DomainExchange.si must be completed through the Escrow.com transaction we create. We may remove listings and suspend accounts that try to take deals elsewhere, mislead other members, or break these rules.

Listing and making offers are free. When a domain sells, the buyer and the seller each pay a 5% platform fee (minimum $25 each), collected through the Escrow.com transaction, where we act as broker. Escrow.com’s own escrow fee is included: we pay it out of the platform fees. No fee is due if a deal is cancelled. These are introductory rates and may change for new deals; agreed deals keep the fees they were agreed at.

• Only .si domains you control. Every listing must pass ownership verification before it goes live, and stays live only while verification holds.
• No names that are confusingly similar to trademarks or company names you have no rights to.
• Each listing is either a fixed price, which a buyer can accept instantly, or open to offers. Prices are in US dollars.
• Once a price is agreed, the domain must not be sold elsewhere while the deal is open.

If you believe a listing infringes your trademark or that the seller does not own the domain, use the “Report this listing” link on the listing page, or email domains@domainexchange.si with the domain, your rights, and how to reach you. We review reports promptly and remove listings that break these rules. Disputes about who should hold a .si domain itself are decided under the .si registry’s own dispute process, not by us.

We store your email address, screen name, a hashed password, your listings, offers and deals. Your email address is used to run your account and to send you notifications about your listings, offers and deals. It is never shown on the site.

When a deal is agreed, we share the buyer’s and seller’s email addresses with Escrow.com so it can create the transaction. Escrow.com then handles identity checks and payment under its own terms and privacy policy, and shows each party the other’s details inside the transaction.

We use self-hosted, cookie-free analytics to count page views. To ask for a copy of your data or to delete your account, email domains@domainexchange.si.
